Extra CME
At the time of CC application, you can purchase an additional 10 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for a $60 fee. Diplomates who purchase extra CME credits will read 8 articles and answer 48 additional questions (6 per article). These articles may be selected from any article category in any combination.
At least 80% of the article-based assessment questions must be correct and be submitted by the CC requirements deadline to receive the additional CME credits. You should be aware that completing the additional articles may entail fees to access some of the articles from the journals.
Note: Answering extra CME article questions does not count toward the Performance Pathway eligibility score of 86% or the 80% threshold to meet the CC Part II requirement.
Ultrasound Credit Articles
Some of the available Part II articles have been approved by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) for credit toward their continuing education requirements. These articles are denoted with an “Ultrasound” tag in the article list in your portal. Contact AIUM for more details regarding credits.
