Digital Badges
ABOG offers digital badges to help diplomates promote their board certification to the public, as well as to colleagues, institutions, and other organizations.
Through a partnership with Credly, these digital badges provide an online representation of board certification that can be easily shared online.

Digital Badge
Once claimed through Credly, ABOG digital badges can be shared across multiple digital platforms to help others recognize your board certification. Diplomates have full control over how and where their digital badges are shared and may update sharing preferences at any time through Credly.
Email: Add your badge to an email signature
Websites: Embed your badge on a practice or personal website
Social media: Share on platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and X

available badge types:
Diplomates who participate in the full ABOG Continuing Certification (CC) program are eligible for digital badges. Diplomates who maintain both specialty and subspecialty certifications through CC may receive a digital badge for each certification they hold. Focused Practice Designations are not included in the digital badge program.
If you are eligible, you will receive an email from admin@credly.com with a link to accept your digital badge and begin sharing your board certification online. If you did not receive this email, please visit the Contact Us page and select “Digital Badges” as the topic for assistance.
If you have already claimed your digital badge, you may log in to the Credly website to view and begin sharing it.
